UAB “Šiaulių tauro televizoriai” is one of the biggest companies of TV sets production in Baltic States, which has a huge experience in TV business and a rich development history.

The main activity of the company is the production and sale of colour TV sets. In 1996 the TV sets produced in Šiauliai were started to export into West European countries and from 1997 these countries formed the main market of TV sets. At present about 98 percent of TV sets are realized in Great Britain, Germany, Italy, France and other European countries.

UAB “Šiaulių tauro televizoriai” pays constant attention to technological innovations. Besides traditional cathode tube TV sets and TV sets with liquid crystal displays, exceptional products- TV sets with integral digital receivers, are proposed to markets. These TV sets are designed to accept all formats of digital TV signals: ethereal, cable, multirecord MPEG -2 and MPEG-4 standards, high definition and with a port for coded signals.

In 2006 the Company was given a certificate confirming that the quality management system employed by the Company fully met standard requirements of LST EN ISO 9001:2000.
